There is really loud music by the pool during the day.You need to get up early to reserve a chair otherwise you likely won't get one without asking a resort worker. The waiters and staff treated us like a king from the moment right before we even walked into the hotel till we were in the cab leaving!!Check in was a breeze and the hotels lobby is very impressive! The coffee bar in the lobby was the perfect fix for us after our red-eye flight. The hotels design/decor is impressive with beautiful views all around. The way it's set back from the resort really adds to the hotel's charm, as you get really great views of the bay and surrounding mountains literally wherever you are at the hotel.I loved the fact that you didn't have to make reservations for the a la carte restaurants; if they were full at the time - they gave you a buzzer to notify you when your table was ready which I thought was a great idea - you could just sit in the bar, chill and wait. After a day of relaxing, stroll through Old Town to soak up the local culture, music and vibe.Take part in annual Key West festivals, such as Fantasy Fest, Key West Lobsterfest, Powerboat Races, and Hemingway Days.
From start to finish; all the staff were amazing and genuinely wanted you to have a great time.
We were booked for a double room and received a king bed upgrade without hassle. The food was tasty and abundant in all restaurants and at the buffet - even if you're a picky eater.
The downsides were if you don't tip the pool servers they ignore you.
We had an Ocean Front Junior Suite Deluxe on the 10th floor and the views were just incredible, panoramic sea views with beautiful sunsets every night. The room itself was lovely, really comfy bed, premium shower amenities and a minibar restocked regularly - all complimentary on the All Inclusive plan.
The hotel itself is a couple of miles outside of town - but easily reached in a taxi; was only a couple of dollars.
